Nachle brings you Garba like you’ve never experienced it before!

 Nachle proudly collaborates exclusively with Jigar Soni, gold medalist in Indian folk dance, in Switzerland for the first time, to impart the technique and joy of Garba to one and all. In what promises to be a show stopping session, the Garba workshop will be followed by short recitals by Jigar, Stuti, Veena.

Workshop at BERNE, BADEN, BASEL

A two hour intensive workshop conducted by Jigar Soni will transport even novice dancers to the mesmerizing world of Garba, a world full of fun, energy and vitality. The beauty of India’s rich tapestry of folk dances, of which Garba is one of the most famous, is performed at every momentous occasion and usually comprises of simple movements and steps where everybody can join in.

FAQ

1. Who can register for the workshop:
This workshop is for everyone who can follow the instructor preferably kids above the age of 6 years.

2. What do we learn in the workshop ?
Workshops in Berne, Baden and Basel are 2 hrs workshops which will introduce you to steps from basic to advance level. At the end of the workshop Jigar, Stuti and Veena will perform a small recital.

3. If i am not interested in dancing, would i still enjoy the Garba evening in Zurich?
Garba evening aims to introduce Garba in it most traditional form to everyone.This events highlights 3-4 beautiful performances by Jigar Soni and Nachle artists schedule between the workshop.

4. Do we get food and drinks and are they included in the entry price?
Authetic Gujarati food,alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages will be available on purchase. The enty charges include 3 hrs of workshop with Jigar soni and unique performances by Jigar and Nachle artists.

5. Are kids allowed below 6 years ?
Parents with kids below 4 years are requested to arrange a babysitter.
There a babysitter organized by those attending the event at the nearby location for a reasonable cost. If you are interested please contact us for further arrangements.

6. Do we have family discounts ?
Yes we encourage the entire family to particpate together to the event and we have discounts, 120 CHF for a single family(Parents and 2 kids), 150 CHF for extended family(Grand parents, Parents and kids)

7. Do we have a dress code?
We dont have a strict dress code but we request you to wear Indian attire and respect the folk style.
